Delete deployment

In some cases, you may no longer need a specific Keycloak deployment; whether it's for testing purposes, a completed project, or simply to clean up unused resources. Cloud-IAM provides deletion options based on your subscription plan.
How to delete your freemium deployment
If you're on a free plan and are the owner of your organization, you can delete your deployment directly from the Cloud-IAM Console. This feature is only available for free-tier deployments.
Steps to delete your deployment:
- Open Cloud-IAM console
- Select the Keycloak deployment you want to delete.
- Navigate on
Advanced
section - Click on
General
tab - Click
Delete
to initiate the deletion process - In the confirmation pop-up, enter the exact name of your deployment
- Then click on
Delete
to confirm the action
This action will permanently delete your Keycloak deployment along with all associated data.
⚠️ Important
This operation is irreversible.
Once deleted, your deployment and its contents cannot be recovered.

How to Delete a paid deployment
If you're on a paid plan, self-deletion of Keycloak deployments is disabled to prevent accidental data loss and ensure contractual compliance. Deletion must be processed manually by the Cloud-IAM support team.
Steps to request deployment deletion and cancel your subscription:
- Submit a ticket or send a direct email to support.
- Use the subject line: Request to delete deployment and cancel subscription
- In your message, include the following details:
- Organization ID
- Deployment name
- Deployment ID
- Reason for deletion
- When you would like the deletion to take place (if applicable).
What happens next?
- The Cloud-IAM support team will acknowledge your request and confirm the termination details, based on your selected subscription granularity and our Terms of Service.
- You'll be advised to export any necessary data before the deletion process begins. This can be done via:
- Export feature (Keycloak-compatible JSON format)
- Backup feature (complete PostgreSQL data dump)
After the termination period:
- The Cloud-IAM technical team will permanently delete your Keycloak deployment along with all associated data.
- The support team will send you a final confirmation confirming the deletion and cancellation of your subscription.
⚠️ Important
This operation is irreversible. Please make sure to back up your data before requesting deletion.
